IMPORTANT: Sol Mala is not available for download, installation, or use in the regions and territories listed below. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are not located in, incorporated in, or a citizen or resident of any restricted region.

1. Restricted Regions Overview

In compliance with international sanctions regimes — including those administered by the United States (OFAC), the European Union, the United Kingdom, Australia (DFAT), and the United Nations Security Council — Sol Mala is geo-blocked and unavailable in the following 17 regions and territories:

2. Rationale

ADappvark takes an extremely conservative approach to international sanctions compliance. Although Sol Mala is a free Buddhist practice application with no financial transaction capabilities, it integrates with Solana blockchain technology for authentication purposes. Out of an abundance of caution and respect for international law, we restrict access from all regions subject to significant international sanctions.

3. User Representations

By downloading, installing, or using Sol Mala, you represent and warrant that:

You are not located in any of the restricted regions or territories listed above
You are not on any sanctions list maintained by OFAC, the EU, the UK, Australia (DFAT), or the UN Security Council
You are not acting on behalf of, or for the benefit of, any person or entity in a restricted region
You are not using any technology (such as VPNs, proxies, or anonymisation tools) to circumvent these geographic restrictions
You will cease using the App immediately if you relocate to a restricted region

4. Enforcement

ADappvark reserves the right to:

Implement technical measures to detect and block access from restricted regions
Terminate access to the App for any user found to be in violation of this policy
Update the list of restricted regions at any time without prior notice, in response to changes in international sanctions regimes
Cooperate with relevant authorities regarding sanctions compliance

5. Consequences of Violation

Accessing or using Sol Mala from a restricted region, or misrepresenting your location to circumvent geographic restrictions, may:

Constitute a violation of applicable sanctions laws and regulations
Result in immediate termination of your access to the App
Expose you to civil and criminal penalties under the laws of your jurisdiction and/or the jurisdiction of the sanctions-issuing authority

6. Changes to Restricted Regions

The list of restricted regions may be updated at any time to reflect changes in international sanctions programmes and geopolitical developments. Users are responsible for checking this policy periodically. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any updated restrictions.

7. Governing Law

This Sanctions & Restricted Regions policy is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and complies with Australian autonomous sanctions administered by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).
