By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Sol Rosary ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App and should uninstall it immediately.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and MidMightBit Games ("we", "us", "our", or "the Developer"), a sole trader operating from Melbourne, VIC, Australia.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
By accepting these Terms you represent that: you are at least 18 years of age; you have the legal capacity to enter into contracts; you are not located in, ordinarily resident in, or a national of a sanctioned jurisdiction; and you are not on any government sanctions list.
Subject to your continuous compliance with these Terms, MidMightBit Games (Australia) grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to install and use one copy of Sol Rosary on a device that you own or lawfully control, solely for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. This licence transfers no ownership to you and may be terminated as described in these Terms.
Except as expressly permitted by these Terms or by applicable law that cannot be waived, you may not: copy, redistribute, sublicense, sell, rent, lease, or lend the App or any portion of it; modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of it; reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive its source code; remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, branding, or trademarks; use it to develop a competing product or service; circumvent, disable, or interfere with its geographic or sanctions-compliance controls; or use it in any way that violates applicable laws or these Terms.
The App is licensed, not sold. MidMightBit Games (Australia) and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the App, including all copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and other intellectual property rights. All rights not expressly granted to you in these Terms are reserved.
The App includes open-source software provided under its own licence terms. Those terms govern that software to the extent they conflict with this Section 1.
You must be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater, to use this App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
If you are using the App on behalf of an organisation, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
Users located in sanctioned jurisdictions (see Section 15) are not permitted to use the App.
Sol Rosary is a virtual rosary prayer companion application designed for Android devices. The App provides:
The App is a devotional tool intended to support and enhance personal prayer life. It is not a substitute for participation in the sacramental life of the Church, spiritual direction, or pastoral guidance.
All prayer functionality is free. The App additionally offers optional, one-time "supporter" unlocks (currently the "Devotee" and "Patron" tiers) that enable cosmetic and convenience features and support ongoing development. Purchasing an unlock is entirely voluntary and is never required to pray or to use any core feature.
We are not responsible for losses arising from your own wallet, a third-party wallet app, network conditions, token price movements, or transactions you authorise.
IMPORTANT: Sol Rosary is not a financial service, investment platform, cryptocurrency exchange, or financial advisory tool. Nothing in the App constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other form of advice.
The optional Solana wallet connection feature exists solely for the purpose of verifying Saga Genesis Token (SGT) ownership. This verification:
You should consult a qualified financial adviser before making any decisions regarding cryptocurrency or digital assets. We expressly disclaim any responsibility for any financial decisions you make.
While we have made reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of prayer texts, scripture passages, saint quotes, and devotional content within the App:
For authoritative texts, we recommend consulting official Church publications, your parish, or a qualified theologian.
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we expressly disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to:
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties. In such jurisdictions, the above exclusions apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
IN NO EVENT SHALL MIDMIGHTBIT GAMES, ITS DEVELOPER, AFFILIATES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the App, regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise), even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the App or these Terms shall not exceed the greater of:
whichever is less.
This limitation applies to all causes of action in the aggregate, including but not limited to breach of contract, breach of warranty, negligence, strict liability, and any other legal theory.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on certain damages. In those jurisdictions, some or all of the above limitations may not apply to you, and you may have additional rights. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be lawfully excluded or limited.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MidMightBit Games, its developer, affiliates, agents, and any associated parties from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to:
This indemnification obligation survives the termination of these Terms and your use of the App.
Sol Rosary may interact with or rely on the following third-party services:
The optional wallet verification feature communicates with the Solana blockchain network via RPC endpoints. The Solana network is a decentralised, open-source blockchain operated by a global network of validators. We do not own, operate, or control the Solana network and are not responsible for its availability, performance, security, or any changes to its protocol.
Wallet connection uses the Solana Mobile Wallet Adapter (MWA) protocol to communicate with a wallet application installed on your device (e.g., Solflare, Phantom, or other compatible wallets). These wallet applications are developed and maintained by independent third parties. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any wallet application.
The App sends anonymous, aggregate usage events to a first-party analytics service we operate on Vercel's edge network. This service records only aggregate counts and holds no personal data, no identifiers, and no prayer content. Its operation is described in full in our Privacy Policy (Section 5.3). Vercel provides the underlying infrastructure as an independent third party under its own terms and data-protection commitments.
We are not responsible for the actions, omissions, content, privacy practices, or terms of service of any third-party service. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that service's own terms and policies. We make no representations or warranties regarding any third-party service.
The Sol Rosary application, including its source code, user interface design, graphics, icons, layouts, animations, and overall look and feel, is the proprietary property of MidMightBit Games and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
Prayers, liturgical texts, and scripture passages within the App are sourced from traditional Catholic liturgical texts and the Douay-Rheims Bible, which are in the public domain. These texts are not claimed as proprietary by MidMightBit Games.
You may not:
Sol Rosary is intended for personal devotional use. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
CRYPTOCURRENCY AND BLOCKCHAIN RISK ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
By using the optional Solana wallet connection feature, you acknowledge and accept the following risks:
You expressly agree that your use of the wallet connection feature is at your sole risk.
You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and rules in your jurisdiction when using the App. This includes, without limitation:
We make no representation that the App is appropriate or available for use in any particular jurisdiction. Users who access or use the App do so at their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
Sol Rosary implements automated sanctions screening in compliance with Australian sanctions law (the Autonomous Sanctions Act 2011 and Autonomous Sanctions Regulations 2011), United States Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulations, and European Union restrictive measures.
The App is not available to users located in or ordinarily resident in the following sanctioned jurisdictions:
By using the App, you represent and warrant that:
We reserve the right to restrict access to the App from any jurisdiction at any time, without notice, if we determine that such restriction is necessary for sanctions compliance or for any other legal or regulatory reason.
We reserve the right to modify, amend, or replace these Terms at any time, at our sole discretion. When we make material changes:
If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must discontinue use of the App and uninstall it.
We may, in our sole discretion, at any time and for any reason or no reason, with or without notice:
You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to: Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law, and Dispute Resolution.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving the original intent of the parties.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal documents referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and MidMightBit Games regarding your use of the App. These Terms supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, representations, and proposals, whether oral or written, regarding the App.
No waiver of any provision of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such provision or any other provision.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia and the State of New South Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be resolved as follows:
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded by contract.
In particular, these Terms do not exclude or limit your rights under:
Where any provision of these Terms conflicts with mandatory consumer protection laws applicable to you, the mandatory consumer protection laws shall prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
The failure of MidMightBit Games to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. A waiver of any right or provision will only be effective if made in writing and signed by an authorised representative of MidMightBit Games.
No single or partial exercise of any right or remedy shall preclude any other or further exercise of that or any other right or remedy.
MidMightBit Games shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from events, circumstances, or causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
In the event of a force majeure, our obligations under these Terms shall be suspended for the duration of the force majeure event.

This section applies if you are a consumer habitually resident in the European Union or the European Economic Area. It adds to your rights and does not reduce them. If anything elsewhere in these Terms conflicts with this section, this section prevails for you.
Under Directive 2011/83/EU you may withdraw from your purchase of the Sol Rosary unlock within 14 days, without giving a reason and without penalty.
There is one exception, in Article 16(m): the right ends once supply of the digital content has begun, but only if you gave prior express consent to that immediate supply and acknowledged that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal. If you were not asked for that consent and acknowledgement as a distinct step, or you did not give it, your 14-day right stands and we will honour it. We do not treat acceptance of these Terms as that consent.
To withdraw, email aardappvark@proton.me with the paying wallet address and the transaction signature. We will refund within 14 days of being informed, in the token you paid, to the wallet that paid. A blockchain payment cannot be reversed by us, so a refund is a fresh transaction sent from us to you rather than a chargeback.
Solana network fees are set by the network, are never received by us, and cannot be refunded by us.
We must supply the unlock you purchased in conformity with the contract: fit for the purpose such content is normally used for, of the quality and performance you can reasonably expect, and supplied with the updates you are told about. Where a lack of conformity becomes apparent within one year of supply, it is presumed to have existed at the time of supply and you do not have to prove otherwise.
If the App is not in conformity you are entitled, in order, to have it brought into conformity free of charge and without significant inconvenience; and, where that is impossible, disproportionate, not done within a reasonable time, or the lack of conformity is serious, to a proportionate reduction of the price or to terminate the contract and receive a refund. These remedies are free of charge to you and are in addition to any other remedy you may have.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your rights under Directive 93/13/EEC on unfair terms in consumer contracts. Any term that has not been individually negotiated and that causes a significant imbalance in the parties' rights and obligations to your detriment, contrary to the requirement of good faith, is not binding on you; the rest of the Terms continue to apply.
The choice of law stated elsewhere in these Terms does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory provision of the law of the country where you are habitually resident (Article 6, Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 — Rome I). You may bring proceedings against us in the courts of that country, and we will bring any proceedings against you only there (Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012).
Please contact us first at aardappvark@proton.me. If we cannot resolve the matter, you may refer it to an approved alternative dispute resolution body in your Member State, or seek free assistance from your national European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net). Note that the European Commission's online dispute resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 and is no longer available.
The price is denominated in SOL or SKR, not in euro. The euro value of those tokens moves, so the euro equivalent at the moment you pay may differ from any indicative euro figure shown to you. The token amount payable is the price; any euro figure is indicative only.
MidMightBit Games, a sole trader established in Australia, is the trader for the purposes of this section and the controller for the purposes of the Privacy Policy. Contact: aardappvark@proton.me.
This section sets out how long we support Sol Rosary, what we may change, and what happens to your licence if we stop working on the App. It adds to your rights and does not reduce them.
This section prevails. Any earlier provision of these Terms that would let us modify, suspend, terminate or discontinue the App, or your access to it, at will, at any time, for any reason or without notice, is superseded by this section and does not apply to you. What governs is the notice period, the commitments about what survives, and the refund entitlement set out below.
The licence granted to you is perpetual. It does not lapse when our support period ends, and it is not a subscription. A paid unlock is a one-off payment that never renews and is tied to the wallet that paid, so it can be restored on a new device. Support and updates are a separate commitment, described next.
We commit to supporting Sol Rosary — correcting defects and keeping it working on current Seeker devices — for at least 12 months from the date you install it or buy a paid unlock, whichever is later. We may of course support it for longer, and we will not shorten this period.
We may stop developing and supporting Sol Rosary if there is a genuine reason to — for example the App is no longer viable to maintain, a service it depends on closes, or we are required to stop. If we do, we will:
Withdrawing the App from a store listing is not the same as discontinuing it. If a listing is withdrawn, everything in this section still applies and the installer remains available at the address above.
Your unlock is perpetual and keeps working. If a change we make means it no longer does what it did when you bought it, and you bought within the preceding 12 months, you may ask for a refund of what you paid, in the token you paid, to the wallet that paid. Write to aardappvark@proton.me with the paying wallet address and the transaction signature.
Solana network fees are set by the network, are never received by us, and cannot be refunded by us.
We may change Sol Rosary to fix defects, meet a legal requirement, or keep it working on current devices. Where a change is not one of those and would adversely affect your access to or use of the App, we will tell you in advance and, if you are an EU or EEA consumer, you may end the contract free of charge within 30 days under Article 19 of Directive (EU) 2019/770.
Questions about any of this: aardappvark@proton.me. We also publish a security contact for vulnerability reports at https://aardappvark.github.io/solrosary-legal/.well-known/security.txt.
