1. Overview
ADappvark ("we", "us", "our") is committed to compliance with all applicable sanctions laws and regulations, including those enforced by the Australian Government through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), the Autonomous Sanctions Act 2011 (Cth), and relevant international sanctions regimes.
SolScripture ("the App") is a Bible reading application that integrates with the Solana blockchain ecosystem. Due to the regulatory environment surrounding blockchain technology and international sanctions obligations, the App is not available in certain regions.
2. Restricted Regions
SolScripture is strictly prohibited from being downloaded, installed, accessed, or used in the following sanctioned and restricted regions:

Donetsk People's Republic — Non-government controlled area; sanctioned under multiple international regimes
Luhansk People's Republic — Non-government controlled area; sanctioned under multiple international regimes
Countries Subject to Significant Sanctions
Russia — Extensive sanctions following the invasion of Ukraine (Australian Autonomous Sanctions, US OFAC, EU, UK, and allied nations)
Belarus — Sanctioned for support of Russia's invasion of Ukraine and human rights violations (Australian, US, EU sanctions)
Myanmar — Sanctions related to military coup and human rights abuses (Australian Autonomous Sanctions, US, EU)
Venezuela — Sectoral sanctions related to governance and human rights concerns (US OFAC, EU, Canadian sanctions)

3. Legal Basis
These regional restrictions are implemented in compliance with the following legal frameworks:

- Autonomous Sanctions Act 2011 (Cth) — Provides the framework for Australia to impose autonomous sanctions independently of the United Nations
- Autonomous Sanctions Regulations 2011 (Cth) — Specifies sanctioned countries, entities, and individuals
- Charter of the United Nations Act 1945 (Cth) — Implements UN Security Council sanctions resolutions in Australian law
- Criminal Code Act 1995 (Cth), Division 102 — Offences relating to sanctions contraventions
3.2 International Frameworks
- United Nations Security Council sanctions resolutions

- Solana ecosystem compliance guidelines and dApp store requirements
4. User Obligations
By using SolScripture, you represent, warrant, and agree that:
- You are not located in, a citizen of, a resident of, or ordinarily present in any of the restricted regions listed above
- You are not a person or entity listed on any government sanctions list, including but not limited to the Australian DFAT Consolidated List, US OFAC Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) List, EU Consolidated List, or UN Security Council Consolidated List
- You are not owned or controlled by, or acting on behalf of, any person or entity located in a restricted region or on any sanctions list
- You will not use the App for the benefit of any person or entity located in a restricted region or on any sanctions list
- You will comply with all applicable sanctions laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
5. VPN and Circumvention Prohibition
The use of virtual private networks (VPNs), proxy servers, Tor, or any other technology to circumvent regional restrictions and access SolScripture from a restricted region is strictly prohibited.
Circumvention of regional restrictions:
- Constitutes a violation of these terms and will result in immediate termination of your license to use the App
- May constitute a violation of applicable sanctions laws, which can carry severe civil and criminal penalties
- Under Australian law, sanctions violations can result in penalties of up to 10 years' imprisonment and/or significant financial penalties for individuals, and substantial fines for corporations
6. Compliance Measures
ADappvark implements the following measures to enforce regional restrictions:
- Location Verification: The App may request approximate location data to verify regional compliance. This data is processed momentarily and not stored or transmitted.
- Ongoing Monitoring: We reserve the right to implement additional compliance verification measures as required by evolving sanctions regimes.
- Cooperation with Authorities: ADappvark will cooperate with relevant authorities in connection with any investigation into sanctions violations.
7. Changes to Restricted Regions
The list of restricted regions may be updated at any time to reflect changes in applicable sanctions laws and regulations. Such updates will be reflected by modifying this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically and ensure continued compliance.

10. Governing Law
This Sanctions and Restricted Regions policy is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
