1. Nature of the Application
SignalFortSkr ("the App") is a WiFi security monitoring tool designed for the Solana Seeker device. The App scans your WiFi environment for security threats including evil twins, rogue access points, and encryption downgrades. It optionally records SHA-256 hashes of security events on the Solana blockchain via the Memo Program.
SignalFortSkr is a monitoring and awareness tool only — it does not block, prevent, or remediate any threat.
SignalFortSkr cannot detect all threats, especially OS-level exploits, advanced persistent threats (APTs), zero-day vulnerabilities, or sophisticated spyware such as Pegasus-style attacks.
WiFi scanning has inherent limitations imposed by the Android operating system, including scan throttling, restricted BSSID access, and incomplete network visibility.
All scan results and security scores are informational only and do not constitute a guarantee of network safety.
2. WiFi Scanning Limitations
You acknowledge and accept the following limitations of WiFi scanning on Android devices:
Scan Throttling: Android restricts the frequency of WiFi scans. Background scans may be limited to a few per hour, reducing real-time detection capability.
Hidden Networks: The App cannot detect networks that do not broadcast their SSID unless the device has previously connected to them.
5 GHz / 6 GHz Visibility: Detection of access points on higher frequency bands depends on your device's hardware capabilities.
Signal Strength Variability: Signal strength readings fluctuate due to environmental factors (walls, interference, distance) and may affect threat detection accuracy.
MAC Randomisation: Modern devices use randomised MAC addresses, which may affect baseline comparisons and device tracking.
Operating System Restrictions: Android may restrict access to certain WiFi data fields in future OS versions, potentially reducing the App's detection capabilities.
3. Threats We Cannot Detect
SignalFortSkr operates at the WiFi layer and cannot detect the following types of threats:
OS-Level Exploits: Kernel vulnerabilities, privilege escalation attacks, or rootkits that operate below the application layer
Advanced Spyware: Sophisticated surveillance tools (e.g., Pegasus, Predator) that exploit zero-day vulnerabilities and operate with root-level access
Bluetooth / NFC Attacks: Threats delivered via Bluetooth, NFC, or other non-WiFi radio interfaces
Physical Access Attacks: Threats requiring physical access to your device (USB debugging, SIM swapping, hardware implants)
Application-Layer Attacks: Phishing, malicious apps, social engineering, or man-in-the-browser attacks
Once a SHA-256 hash is recorded on the Solana blockchain, it is permanent and irreversible. You acknowledge and accept that:
There is no mechanism to delete, modify, or redact an on-chain proof after confirmation
Aardappvark cannot remove or alter on-chain proofs on your behalf or at your request
You are solely responsible for deciding which security events to anchor before confirming the on-chain transaction
Proof immutability is a fundamental characteristic of blockchain technology, not a defect
5. Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Risks
SignalFortSkr interacts with the Solana blockchain for proof anchoring. By using blockchain features, you acknowledge the following risks:
Volatility: The value of SOL and SKR tokens may fluctuate significantly. Proof anchoring costs denominated in tokens may vary in fiat-equivalent value.
Network Fees: Anchoring a proof costs only the Solana network transaction fee (gas), which is paid to the network, not to us, and is beyond our control. We do not charge per proof.
Network Availability: The Solana blockchain may experience congestion, downtime, or degraded performance. Proof anchoring may be delayed or fail.
Irreversibility: Blockchain transactions are irreversible. The one-time Pro unlock payment cannot be refunded once confirmed on-chain. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable consumer protection laws that cannot lawfully be excluded. Except as required by such laws, purchases are final and non-refundable.
Wallet Security: You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet, private keys, and seed phrases. Aardappvark cannot recover lost or stolen funds.
Regulatory Risk: Cryptocurrency regulations may change. Future legal or regulatory developments may affect the availability or functionality of blockchain features.
6. No Professional Advice
Nothing in SignalFortSkr or its associated materials constitutes professional security advice, IT consultation, legal advice, or any other form of professional service. The App is a utility tool and should not be treated as a substitute for professional security audits, penetration testing, enterprise security solutions, or expert consultation.
7. VPN Recommendation
ALWAYS USE A VPN ON UNTRUSTED NETWORKS.
SignalFortSkr can help identify potentially suspicious networks, but it cannot protect your data in transit. A VPN encrypts your traffic between your device and the VPN server, providing an additional layer of protection that WiFi monitoring alone cannot offer. SignalFortSkr does not include VPN functionality and does not endorse any specific VPN provider.
8. Wallet Connection & Blockchain Interactions
SignalFortSkr offers optional wallet connectivity features via the Solana blockchain. By connecting a wallet or engaging in any blockchain-related interactions through the App:
You do so entirely at your own risk.
Aardappvark is not responsible for any loss of funds, tokens, or digital assets.
Blockchain transactions are irreversible. You are solely responsible for verifying all transaction details before confirmation.
Aardappvark does not custody, control, or have access to your wallet, private keys, or digital assets at any time.
9. Assumption of Risk
By downloading, installing, or using SignalFortSkr, you acknowledge and agree that:
You understand the limitations of WiFi scanning and security monitoring as described in this disclaimer.
You assume all risk associated with the use of the App and any reliance on its security monitoring features.
Aardappvark shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or harm arising from your use of or reliance on the App, including but not limited to undetected threats, false positives, false negatives, or the immutability of on-chain proofs.
You are solely responsible for your own network security decisions.
A clean scan result does not mean a network is safe.

11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Aardappvark, its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use SignalFortSkr.

Aardappvark reserves the right to update or modify this disclaimer at any time. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after any such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised disclaimer.
