Roaring Trades
Effective Date: 14 August 2026
Roaring Trades is not made available in the countries and territories listed below. If the Game determines that your device is in one of them, it shows a notice and closes rather than opening.
This list exactly matches the block list implemented in the App. It is generated from the same source of truth as the check that runs on your device — there are 22 entries here and 22 in the App.
Each of these is subject to a comprehensive or substantial sanctions programme under one or more of: US OFAC, EU restrictive measures, Australian autonomous sanctions, and UN Security Council resolutions.
Only countries actually under such a programme appear here. Countries that were previously restricted for commercial reasons rather than sanctions have been removed, because describing them as sanctioned would not have been accurate.

Ukraine is not restricted. The sanctions that apply in the region apply to occupied territories, and country-level detection cannot distinguish those areas from the rest of the country. Restricting all of Ukraine would have been over-broad, so it is not on the list.
The check runs entirely on your device. No location is sent anywhere, and no location permission is requested or held by the Game.
Your country is determined from the first of these that returns an answer:
The Game does not use GPS, does not use your IP address, and does not use your device language. Language is a preference, not a location: a phone set to Russian in Berlin is in Germany, and blocking on that basis would be both wrong and trivial to defeat.
If none of the signals returns an answer, the Game opens normally. It fails open by design, so that a device with no SIM and an unusual clock is not locked out of a game it is entitled to play.
The check can be wrong — a roaming SIM or a misreported network country are the usual causes. Contact midmightbit@proton.me with the country you are actually in, and we will look into it.
Sanctions regimes change. When this list changes, it changes in the App and on this page together, and the App must be updated for a change to take effect on your device.
