Privacy Policy

CitizenSol ("the App") is developed by MidMightBit Games ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the App handles and how.

Summary: CitizenSol collects zero personal data. Everything stays on your device.

1. Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, transmit, or process any of the following:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number, date of birth)
• Account or login credentials
• Usage analytics or behavioural data
• Device identifiers (IMEI, advertising ID, hardware serial)
• IP addresses
• Browsing or search history
• Contacts, photos, or media
• Crash reports or diagnostic data
• Cookies, web beacons, or tracking pixels

2. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following data exclusively on your device using Android's SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party:

• Quiz progress and scores — your answers, streaks, and performance history
• Spaced repetition data — review intervals and mastery levels for each question
• Achievements and statistics — unlocked badges and cumulative stats
• App preferences — selected countries, theme settings, notification preferences
• Daily challenge state — current challenge progress and history
• Widget configuration — home screen widget display preferences

3. Wallet Address

If you choose to connect a Solana wallet via Sign In With Solana (SIWS), your public wallet address is:

• Stored locally on your device using Android EncryptedSharedPreferences (AES-256 encryption)
• Used solely to verify Seeker Genesis Token (SGT) ownership on the Solana blockchain
• Never transmitted to our servers (we have no servers)
• Never shared with any third party
• Readable only by the App on your device

Wallet connection is entirely optional. The App functions fully without it. The connection is read-only — the App cannot initiate, sign, or submit any blockchain transactions.

4. SGT (Seeker Genesis Token) Verification

When you verify SGT ownership, the App communicates directly with the Solana blockchain through your installed wallet app to check token ownership. This is a standard on-chain read operation. No personal data is transmitted during this process.

5. Location Data

The App uses coarse device signals (SIM country, network country, locale, timezone) solely for sanctions compliance — to determine whether the App may legally operate in your region. This check:

• Is performed entirely on-device
• Does not use GPS or precise location
• Does not store location data
• Does not transmit location data to any server
• Runs only at app startup

6. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external communication is:

• Solana blockchain — read-only queries via your installed wallet app for SGT verification (only if you choose to connect a wallet)

No data is sent to Google, Facebook, Firebase, Crashlytics, or any other analytics or advertising platform.

7. Children's Privacy

CitizenSol is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the App collects no personal data from any user, no special provisions for children's data are necessary.

8. International Privacy Law Compliance

Because CitizenSol collects no personal data, the App inherently complies with major privacy regulations:

GDPR (European Union)

No personal data is collected or processed. No consent mechanisms are required as there is no data processing to consent to. No data transfers occur.

CCPA/CPRA (California, USA)

No personal information is collected, sold, or shared. There is no data to disclose, delete, or opt out of.

LGPD (Brazil)

No personal data is collected or processed. No legal basis for processing is required as no processing occurs.

APPI (Japan)

No personal information is acquired, used, or provided to third parties.

PIPA (South Korea)

No personal information is collected, used, or provided to third parties.

Australian Privacy Act 1988

No personal information is collected, held, used, or disclosed within the meaning of the Australian Privacy Principles.

9. Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control:

• Clear app data: Go to Android Settings > Apps > CitizenSol > Storage > Clear Data
• Uninstall: Uninstalling the App removes all associated data from your device

No data exists on any external server to delete.

10. Data Security

All data is stored in the App's private storage sandbox on your device, protected by Android's application sandboxing. Wallet addresses are additionally encrypted using EncryptedSharedPreferences (AES-256-SIV for keys, AES-256-GCM for values). No data is transmitted over any network by the App.

11. Changes to This Policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. As the App collects no data, material changes are unlikely.
