CitizenSol ("the App") is developed by MidMightBit Games ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the App handles and how.
Summary: CitizenSol collects zero personal data. Your study data stays on your device; the only information we receive is anonymous, aggregate usage counts, which you can turn off in Settings.
We do not collect, store, transmit, or process any of the following:
The App stores the following data on your device using Android's SharedPreferences. We cannot read it and it is not sent to us:
If Android Backup is enabled on your device, the App's settings and progress data are included in your device's encrypted Google backup, survive uninstalling the App, and may be restored when you reinstall. Wallet data is always excluded from backup. You can exclude the App from backup in Android Settings or delete the backup from your Google account.
If you choose to connect a Solana wallet via Sign In With Solana (SIWS), your public wallet address is:
Wallet connection is entirely optional. The App functions fully without it. The App never holds your keys or funds and cannot move anything on its own. The only transaction it may propose is the optional one-time Pro unlock payment (see Section 6) — and you review and explicitly approve or decline it inside your own wallet before anything is submitted.
To verify Seeker Genesis Token status, submit payments, and restore purchases, the App sends your wallet's public address to Solana RPC providers: api.mainnet-beta.solana.com and, as a fallback, solana-rpc.publicnode.com (Allnodes). These providers receive your IP address and the public address. Private keys never leave your wallet.
The App uses coarse device signals (SIM country, network country, locale, timezone) solely for sanctions compliance — to determine whether the App may legally operate in your region. This check:
See our Sanctions Policy for details on regional restrictions.
CitizenSol sends anonymous, aggregate usage counts (for example, that the app was opened or a mock test was started) to our own analytics endpoint, solely to understand which features are used and improve the App. These events contain no personal data, no account, no device or advertising identifier, and no install identifier — they cannot be linked to you or your device. Approximate country is derived at our analytics provider's (Vercel) edge network from the request; your IP address is never logged or stored. This is optional — you can disable it any time in Settings > Privacy > "Anonymous analytics." It is consistent with GDPR (Recital 26), CCPA, LGPD, APPI, and PIPA without consent.
The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. External communication is limited to:
No data is sent to Google, Facebook, Firebase, Crashlytics, or any other third-party analytics or advertising platform.
CitizenSol is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the App collects no personal data from any user, no special provisions for children's data are necessary.
Because CitizenSol collects no personal data — its analytics are anonymous and aggregate only — the App inherently complies with major privacy regulations:
No personal data is collected or processed. No consent mechanisms are required as there is no data processing to consent to. No data transfers occur.
No personal information is collected, sold, or shared. There is no data to disclose, delete, or opt out of.
No personal data is collected or processed. No legal basis for processing is required as no processing occurs.
No personal information is acquired, used, or provided to third parties.
No personal information is collected, used, or provided to third parties.
No personal information is collected, held, used, or disclosed within the meaning of the Australian Privacy Principles.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control:
If Android Backup is enabled on your device, the App's settings and progress data are included in your device's encrypted Google backup, survive uninstalling the App, and may be restored when you reinstall. Wallet data is always excluded from backup. You can exclude the App from backup in Android Settings or delete the backup from your Google account.
The only information on any server is anonymous, aggregate counts that cannot be linked to you or your device, so there is no personal record to delete. You can also stop all analytics at any time via Settings > Privacy > "Anonymous analytics."
All personal data is stored in the App's private storage sandbox on your device, protected by Android's application sandboxing. Wallet addresses are additionally encrypted using EncryptedSharedPreferences (AES-256-SIV for keys, AES-256-GCM for values). The only data the App transmits over the network is the anonymous, aggregate analytics described in Section 6 and, if you connect a wallet, the public wallet address sent to the Solana RPC providers described in Section 4.
If we update this Privacy Policy, changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. As the App collects no data, material changes are unlikely.
