VeilScreenSkr ("the App") is published by MidMightBit Games, based in Melbourne, VIC, Australia. The App is a software-based screen privacy protection tool for the Solana Seeker device. It applies visual overlay filters to help protect your screen from casual shoulder-surfing in public spaces.
VeilScreenSkr is built with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect personal data, we use no third-party analytics SDKs or advertising trackers, and we serve no advertisements. Your settings and wallet data remain on your device. The App does send anonymous, aggregate usage counts — containing no personal data — to our own privacy-preserving analytics service, described in Section 8a.
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR, the legal basis for processing your wallet public address (if you choose to connect a wallet) is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) — specifically, the legitimate interest in providing SGT verification and boost session access that you voluntarily opt into by connecting your wallet. This processing is minimal, expected by the user, and proportionate.
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), the wallet public address is collected in accordance with APP 3 (collection of solicited personal information) for the primary purpose of on-chain identity verification and feature access.
VeilScreenSkr requires the SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW (Draw Over Other Apps / Overlay) permission to function. This permission is essential because the App works by drawing a visual overlay filter on top of your screen to reduce readability from side angles.
Important: The overlay is purely visual. It applies dimming, noise, and pattern layers to the display output. It does not capture, record, read, or transmit any screen content. The overlay cannot access the content of other apps, and no pixel data from the underlying screen is ever processed or stored.
VeilScreenSkr supports optional wallet connection via Sign In With Solana (SIWS) using the Solana Mobile Wallet Adapter (MWA). Wallet connection enables:
The MWA protocol operates locally between apps on your device. No wallet data is transmitted to external servers by MidMightBit Games. We store only your wallet public address (encrypted). We never have access to your private keys or the ability to sign transactions on your behalf without your explicit approval in your wallet app.
VeilScreenSkr offers optional boost sessions that can be purchased with SOL or SKR tokens. These transactions are processed entirely on the Solana blockchain:
The App makes the following network requests:
All network communications use HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit. The App enforces HTTPS for all connections and does not permit cleartext traffic.
VeilScreenSkr sends anonymous, aggregate usage events to our own privacy-preserving analytics service — a Vercel serverless function with a our Cloudflare D1 database (with Vercel Blob as a short-term fallback) store that we operate. Each event records only:
Your IP address is never logged or stored by us. No user or device identifier, no wallet address, no filter settings, and no screen content are ever transmitted. Only aggregate counts — how many times each event happened, per country, per day — are retained. We use these counts solely to understand how many people use the App and where, so we can prioritise improvements.
Because this data is anonymous and aggregate, it is not personal data under GDPR Recital 26 and equivalent laws, and no consent is required. VeilScreenSkr uses no third-party analytics SDKs and no advertising trackers, requires no account, and does not build a profile of you.
The App does not collect or store your IP address. However, when the App makes network requests to Solana RPC endpoints, your IP address is transmitted to those services as part of standard internet protocol. MidMightBit Games has no access to any logs or data collected by third-party RPC providers. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
All personal data is stored locally on your device. Aside from the anonymous, aggregate analytics events described in Section 8a, no data is transmitted to any server owned or operated by MidMightBit Games. Security measures include:
VeilScreenSkr does not create user accounts. There is no registration, no login system, and no user profiles. Wallet connection via SIWS is optional and used solely for SGT verification and boost payments. Disconnecting your wallet removes all wallet-related data from your device.
The App uses the following third-party libraries:
The App does NOT include any:
Your data is retained locally on your device for as long as the App is installed. Data is automatically deleted when you:
Filter preferences and app settings are removed from the device when the App is uninstalled or its data is cleared. Note that if Android Backup is enabled, a copy of the App's settings and progress data may persist in your device's encrypted Google backup after uninstalling — see Section 10 for how to exclude or delete it.
When making RPC calls, your wallet public address and IP address are transmitted to Solana RPC endpoints to retrieve on-chain data. Your wallet public address is already publicly visible on the Solana blockchain. No user-specific data is sent to MidMightBit Games servers; our only server — the analytics service in Section 8a — receives anonymous, aggregate counts that contain no personal data.
We rely on the public nature of blockchain data and your explicit request to use this service as the basis for these transmissions. For EU/UK users, this processing is necessary for the performance of the service at your request (GDPR Article 49(1)(b)).
The only data sent to a server operated by MidMightBit Games is the anonymous, aggregate analytics described in Section 8a, which contains no personal data. Our analytics runs on Vercel's global network; Vercel acts as a processor and derives an approximate country at its edge without our code ever receiving or storing your IP address.
You can delete all App data at any time by:
This satisfies the right to erasure under GDPR Article 17, UK GDPR, and the Australian Privacy Act.
All data stored by the App is visible within the App itself (filter settings, app settings, and wallet connection status). You may also contact us to request a summary of any data associated with your wallet address.
As the only externally-sourced data is your wallet public address from the Solana blockchain, the App displays factual on-chain data. If you believe any data is inaccurate, you can disconnect and reconnect your wallet to refresh on-chain data.
You may restrict the processing of your wallet address at any time by disconnecting your wallet. This stops all wallet-related data processing and removes your wallet address from local storage. You may reconnect at any time to resume the service.
You may object to the processing of your wallet address at any time by disconnecting your wallet, which removes your wallet address from local storage.
As all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over your data at all times. Your wallet public address is the only externally-sourced data element and is already in your possession.

We aim to respond to all data protection requests within 30 days.
This section applies if you are in the European Union or the European Economic Area, and explains how Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) applies to VeilScreenSkr.
MidMightBit Games, a sole trader established in Australia, is the data controller. Contact: aardappvark@proton.me. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer; we are not required to.
We have not designated a representative in the Union. We rely on the exemption in Article 27(2)(a): our processing of EU personal data is occasional, does not include large-scale processing of special categories of data under Article 9 or data relating to criminal convictions under Article 10, and is unlikely to result in a risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons. You can contact us directly at aardappvark@proton.me about any GDPR matter, and we answer in English.
You can stop this processing at any time from the App's Settings screen, where the privacy section carries the control. Turning it off stops all event sending immediately.
VeilScreenSkr stores settings on your device using Android's app-private storage. That storage is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for, so it does not require separate consent. The App sets no cookies, uses no advertising identifier, no device fingerprinting and no third-party analytics SDK, and does not read information stored on your device for any purpose other than running the App.
We are established in Australia, so where we receive anything it is processed in Australia. Australia is not the subject of an adequacy decision under Article 45. Our analytics endpoint is operated for us in the United States by our hosting provider. The transferred payload is a single event name and contains no identifier and no personal data, so in our assessment Chapter V is not engaged by it; to the extent it is, we rely on Article 46(2)(c) standard contractual clauses with our provider, or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where that provider is certified. Public Solana RPC providers you interact with may be located outside the EEA and receive your IP address and wallet public address as an unavoidable part of any internet request.
Data on your device is kept until you delete it, clear the App's data, or uninstall the App. Aggregate daily counters hold no personal data and are kept indefinitely as statistics. We operate no user accounts and hold no profile of you.
You have the rights of access (Article 15), rectification (16), erasure (17), restriction (18), data portability (20) and objection (21), and the right to withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis. Because your data lives on your device and we hold no identifier for you, you exercise most of these directly: the data is visible in the App, and clearing the App's data or uninstalling it erases it. For anything else, email aardappvark@proton.me — we respond within one month, free of charge.
There is no automated decision-making producing legal or similarly significant effects, and no profiling within the meaning of Article 22.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of your Member State of residence, place of work, or of the alleged infringement (Article 77). A list is published by the European Data Protection Board at edpb.europa.eu. We would appreciate the chance to resolve it first.
