Divine Quotes Sol does not collect, store, transmit, or process any personal data or personally identifiable information (PII). We have no user databases, no third-party trackers and no advertising. We run a single endpoint of our own for anonymous, aggregate usage counts, described below. Your privacy is absolute.

We want to be unambiguously clear. Divine Quotes Sol does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:
Divine Quotes Sol does not require or offer user account creation. There is no sign-up, no login, and no user profiles. The app functions entirely without any form of user registration.
We use no third-party analytics service — not Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude or anything similar. Divine Quotes Sol sends anonymous, aggregate usage counts to our own endpoint (divinequotes-analytics.vercel.app) so we can see which features are used. The whole request is one event name, for example {"event_type":"app_open"} — never a quote you read, a favourite, a location, a wallet address, a device or advertising identifier, an install id, a session id or an IP address. Counts are kept per event, per approximate country, per day and cannot be linked to you. Switch it off in Settings > Privacy > “Anonymous analytics”.. We do not track session duration, screen views or any behavioural metrics, and we build no profile of any user. The only usage data collected is the anonymous per-day event count described above.
Divine Quotes Sol contains no advertisements of any kind. We do not use advertising SDKs, ad networks, or any form of commercial promotion within the app.
Divine Quotes Sol may request access to your device's location services for the following purposes only:
Your coordinates are used on your device, are never sent to us, are not stored persistently, and are not shared. Location is also used to determine your country for sanctions screening: the app first reads your SIM and mobile-network country codes, and only if those are unavailable does it ask Android's own geocoding service to convert your approximate position into a country code — a platform request handled by Android (on most devices by Google), not by us. Location access is optional and the app will function without it (prayer times and compass features will be unavailable).
The App declares INTERNET, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION, RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED, POST_NOTIFICATIONS and SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM. The shipped package additionally contains WAKE_LOCK, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE and FOREGROUND_SERVICE (declared by AndroidX WorkManager, which runs the daily quote notification and widget refresh) and REORDER_TASKS (declared by the Solana Mobile Wallet Adapter library). The App itself starts no foreground service. If your device does not grant the exact-alarm permission, prayer reminders are scheduled inexactly and may arrive a few minutes late.
Divine Quotes Sol may access your device's magnetometer (compass sensor) and accelerometer for the sole purpose of providing compass heading functionality for the Qibla direction feature. Sensor data is processed entirely on-device, is never recorded, and is never transmitted.
Divine Quotes Sol may interact with the Solana blockchain through your connected wallet application (e.g., the Solana Seeker built-in wallet). All blockchain interactions are:
We do not store, index, or monitor your wallet address or transaction history. Any on-chain data associated with your wallet is governed by the public nature of the Solana blockchain, not by this application.
Divine Quotes Sol uses Sign In With Solana (SIWS) for wallet authentication. This process involves signing a message with your wallet to verify ownership. No personal data is collected during this process. The signed message contains only a domain identifier and a human-readable statement of purpose.
Your preferences (selected faith traditions, notification frequency, compass target, author-date display), your saved favourites and your local usage streak are stored in local device storage (SharedPreferences). Wallet data is stored using Android EncryptedSharedPreferences where available, with a fallback to standard SharedPreferences.
If Android Backup is enabled on your device, the App's settings and progress data are included in your device's encrypted Google backup, survive uninstalling the App, and may be restored when you reinstall. Wallet data is always excluded from backup. You can exclude the App from backup in Android Settings or delete the backup from your Google account.
Divine Quotes Sol does not integrate with any third-party services that collect user data. The app does not contain any third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, social media, or data collection.
The app has no accounts and no advertising. The only thing we receive is an anonymous, aggregate count that cannot identify any user. We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988, the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) provisions relating to minors.
ADappvark operates no backend and receives no personal data from the App, so there is no personal data for us to disclose, correct, export or delete. Deleting the App (and, if Android Backup is enabled, removing its backup from your Google account) removes all data it holds. This design is intended to satisfy:

If we ever change this privacy policy, the updated version will be published at this URL and within the app. Since we collect no data, any future changes would only occur if we added features requiring data processing, in which case we would provide clear notice and obtain any required consent.
